Heidi & Annette come to help with the horses.

We're still waiting for snow.

Still waiting for more snow

But had to try the new seat design
and the adjustment to the shafts.

No snow, so we drove the x-country buggy

But there is more snow in the forecast.

Paul is still working each Thursday at the farm.

And he can weld.

Laddie is a little sad without his mother around.

But life is a series of losses.

Flashback: Sketch from 1957

I did this sketch on the beach at Southampton.
That was a great way to spend the summer.

No snow, too much mud, rest the horses and enjoy the orchids.

Flashback: Bonnie

Bonnie has left the farm

Even with a little snow, Jack still wants to go.

Derrick has his 1st lesson.

Flashback: Shirley takes Clare for a ride

Jack gives Shirley a quick lesson.

Welcome to 2013 with a sleigh ride

Happy New Year

A sleigh ride with all the bells on.

Dashing through the snow

In a one horse open sleigh

More snow, more rides, more photos

We have snow for the new sleigh.

Flashback: Christmas gift from many years ago

This toy tractor was given to me
many years ago by my Uncle Harold.
Today I played with my full sized tractor.

Just waiting for snow

and it's coming on Boxing Day they say

Holiday Greetings from Christieview

Flashback: Boomer & the cutter

"Honey" is a very curious cat.

She knows everything that goes on
 in the horse stable.

Flashback: NHL in the 50's

They travelled by train
No big salaries or greedy owners
But many great players
See some of their signatures above
