Another trip to Countryside Harness

 Abner has a new hitch for his 6 girls.

I just had to give it a try.

 He had just finished a new marathon harness.

 On the 16th Jack turned 6. He sure has matured since he first arrived.

Laddie is 9 today. Hard to believe that he was born here at the farm.

We all seem to be getting older.

Flashback: 32 years at Christieview Farm

At the end of May I have lived at CVF 32 years.

What a pleasure to be the steward of this great section of land.

Every day is full of work, but lots of beauty and joy.

More eggs in the middle of our bonfire pile.

Marion tells me these are Mallard Duck eggs.

The hen is sitting patiently on the clutch.

A slow spring, but the flowers linger.

In 2010 we first planted on April 5th. with lots of help.

In 2011 we first planted on April 30th, and even then it was too soon.

It's been a good year for starting things in our greenhouse.
