Visitors from Japan

Three gentlemen from Japan are staying at the farm for a few days.

They are from Westfield's twin historical village, Hokkaido.

We welcome them.

The snow was so deep I had to blow a path for the horse & sleigh.

These ladies were the highest bidder and came for a ride today.

Bonnie is always happy to please.

Flashback: Toby learns to drive the team

On Boxing Day 2005 Toby tried his hand at driving our team.
Now they have the bobsleigh down at their farm for their team to pull.

Another Barn dance coming in June

On July 1st, 2007 we had a barn dance for the Dundas Museum.

Every 28-35 days we weigh our steers to calculate average daily gain.

This allows us to adjust their feed accordingly.

A good harness-maker

Abner has made great harness for us.

He even has a picture of Boomer on his sign & logo.
