Riding a Clydesdale in the snow can be fun.

More snow; more sleigh rides.

It's always easy to get the cutter out on a sunny March day.

Jack has continued to develop as a great carriage horse.

We often have visitors watching us in the North field.

Wood Duck Box down at the pond.

A pair of wood ducks glided over the pond this a.m.

They couldn't land because of the ice.

I decided it was time to get the new box up.

It may not be spring but we have Robins.

I also saw a Bluebird but he was too quick.

Bonnie & Clyde came to CVF in April 2001.

Bonnie liked the place and stayed.

Clyde kept going.

These ISA Browns have been great hens.

Nice brown eggs every day even in winter.

We took the Wood Ducks 101 Program at Crieff Hills.

We plan to build a box and put it down by the pond.

Heidi & Bonnie

Heidi sure has a "crush" on Bonnie.

And I think Bonnie has a "crush" on Heidi.

Years ago we used to go to Great Uncle Richard's farm near Action.

This photo is circa 1930.

But it does make one think of spring and working the land again.

I'm already reading seed catalogues and making lists.

OK, this one shows Evelyn driving.

Evelyn has been around horses for most of her life.

This is the first time she has driven a horse and cutter.

Another big snow day

Heidi & Evelyn each took a turn driving Bonnie.

Wow. What a winter.

We hitched the horses 11 times in January.

We're off to a good start for February.
